Providing love and care for animals in the name of two beloved yet missing felines, Bubby & Patches.

Description

Named in memory of two long-term missing, but dearly beloved cats, Bubby & Patches, the Bubby & Patches Rescue Sanctuary will provide short-term, long-term and permanent homes to cats and kittens (as well as every other species imaginable!) with additional needs. Our aims are to: - provide high quality foster homes to cats and kittens with additional needs - place cats and kittens with additional needs into suitable adoptive homes where possible - provide a permanent home for long-term fostered cats who cannot be adopted - assist owners in crisis situations to maintain ownership of their beloved pets by providing temporary, low-cost and accessible foster homes - provide Microchipping services at cost with a gold coin donation to rescue groups and members of the public -- coming soon -- - support and advise pet owners searching for long-term missing animals - support and advise pet owners having difficulty with their cats current behaviours - inform members of the public of legislative requirements when owning animals - encourage veterinary practices to routinely scan all new patients and check their microchip details against the relevant databases to ensure that they are in the hands of their rightful owners - provide information and assist in organising for cats and kittens to be desexed - support the Orange Collar Campaign for indoor cats We are currently in the process of becoming a registered charity and approved domestic animal rescue. Our long term goal is to establish a feline sanctuary, caring for cats with additional needs in a safe, secure, enriched and friendly environment whilst educating he public the benefits of owning additional needs cats. Every cat deserves a loving and stable forever home, even those with additional needs! Why? Because cats like Bubby and Patches are not "Just cats". They are family.
