Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is *not specializing*. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed these workouts posted daily on the site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes. Elite Fitness in 100 words -------------------------------------------- Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combination's and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports!

COMPWOD is looking for Volunteers for Best of the Best and 2 Bars One Snatch happening on the weekend of Nov 22/23. Here are the details: CompWOD will be hosting our annual Best of the Best & 2 Bars, 1 Snatch events on the weekend of November 22 & 23 in Mississauga andwe need volunteers! We are moving outside the box this year! Both events will be held at the Canlan Sportsplex in Mississauga (http://www.canlansports.ca/), with more than 10,000 square feet of awesomeness to play with. CompWOD is looking for some dedicated, honest and fun-loving volunteers and judges for both BOTB & 2 Bars, 1 Snatch. We've worked with many of you in the past and have taken all of your feedback into consideration moving forward. Next to Regionals, this will be THE biggest events weekend in Canadian CrossFit history! So why not be a part of it? This year, we're excited to offer the following to our judges/volunteers: Complimentary Coffee, Drinks & Snacks - This will be available all weekend long in the Volunteer's Lounge, a separate room where only YOU will be able to hang out, relax and soak in the action between workouts. Reebok Swag & More - Everyone will receive a complimentary t-shirt and maybe some other neat treats as well! Pre-determined Judges Schedule - Our goal is to create a judging schedule ahead of time so each judge and volunteer knows exactly when they need to be on the floor, and at what time. This way, you'll know when you need to work and when to take a break. The opportunity to "no rep" Lucas Parker, Michele Letendre or your best friends Kyle and Nicole! - We have CrossFit Games athlete's competing at BOTB and will need some confident, experienced coaches and judges to handle these guys on the floor! We will also need judges to help for 2 Bars, 1 Snatch. You do not need your Level 1 to volunteer or judge at either event. We will have several small tasks that need to be done day of, so we can find something for you to do! Please let us know if you're interested in helping with these events!
