About Us: BURN UNIT assists burn victims and their families during times of healing and recovery, while providing awareness and a positive environment for our families, friends and sponsors. A testimony from one of our members, Shane Hill: On February 18, 2010 I was a victim of a terrorist attack on the IRS Building in Austin, TX. I sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my hands, face, neck, and back. My family has dealt with the aftermath of the event (e.g., loss of wages, time lost with family, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PSTD). Over time, with the help of my friends and our relationship with God, I continue to lead a great life. We started Burn Unit to help others as they regroup after burn incidents.
