Burnett Plaza is a building located in Fort Worth, Texas. At 567 feet (173 meters), it is the tallest building in Fort Worth, and the tallest building in Texas outside Houston, Dallas, and Austin, excluding the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio.OverviewThe building has 40 floors. It was completed in 1983. Its addresses are Cherry Street, West 10th Street, and West 7th Street. It stands on the former site of the Medical Arts Building, which was demolished to make way for this building. A cluster of elevator shafts is exposed on the west facade, each shaft stopping at a different height. The building stands at the western end of a block-size plaza with extensive landscaping arranged in a dense pattern criss-crossed by diagonals. The north side of the plaza features the 50-foot "Man With a Briefcase" sculpture by Jonathan Borofsky, an aluminum slab with the outline of a giant businessman cut out of the center. The building is also Fort Worth's largest office tower.The building is home to the headquarters of the Burnett Oil Company owned by Anne Windfohr Marion.In March 1997 Haynes and Boone moved its headquarters and 1,000 employees out of Burnett Plaza.

Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas.LocationIt is located in Downtown Fort Worth at 55 Commerce Street, near Sundance Square.OverviewThe hall was first suggested by pianist Van Cliburn, to philanthropist Nancy Lee Bass and her husband, Perry Richardson Bass.It was built with limestone and designed by David M. Schwarz/Architectural Services, Inc. in 1998. It is characteristic of the classic European opera house form. An 80ft Great Dome, artfully painted by Scott and Stuart Gentling, tops the Founders Concert Theater. Two 48ft angels sculpted by Marton Varo from Texas limestone grace the Grand Façade.It seats 2,056 people. Built as a multi-purpose facility, the Hall is able to house symphony, ballet, opera, stage, musicals, and rock concerts and it is now the permanent home to the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Opera, and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and Cliburn Concerts. Performing Arts Fort Worth, which manages the Hall, also hosts its own performances here, including national touring Broadway productions and a family series.

Herman Clark Stadium Paul Galvan Field is a 12,000-capacity multi-use stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. The stadium is mostly used for High school football where it hosts teams from the Fort Worth Independent School District but is also used for track & field contests and soccer matches. The playing surface is artificial turf and there is no video scoreboard. Built in 1970 adjacent to Tarrant County College-South Campus, the stadium is named for Herman E. Clark, a longtime Fort Worth ISD athletic director. The field is named for Paul Galvan.
