Burroughs Roadhouse restaurants new owners have re-opened the restaurant after a major remodeling. Situated overlooking the scenic Oak Point Golf Course we offer a relaxing full service experience in the nostalgic Dorr family home dating to the 1820s. In 1927, the home became a restaurant in the historic Burroughs Corporation employee lounge retreat in the Crooked Lake area near Brighton. Over the decades the restaurant and its intimate and cozy bar has been a landmark on Brighton Road joining Chilson and Brighton. The guest bar is a true gem as it was the original “Pink Hotel” in Brighton. Today we offer a varied all American menu featuring true comfort food such as mac n’ cheese, meatloaf, Angus steaks, prime rib, house made soups, Michigan style salads, and delicious burgers and sandwiches. We feature breads baked daily by Great Harvest, and desserts of Marv’s Bakery of Brighton. Our chefs are locally raised and trained and share their passion and creativity for your culinary delight in our menu and daily specials. We feature not only the finest ingredients and Michigan offerings but a commitment to exemplary service. Every Sunday we present a mouthwatering brunch buffet and luncheon to tantalize your senses. Daily we offer live entertainment following dinner featuring local talent groups wanting a showcase opportunity. Join us for open microphone nights where local artists can entertain you. Jazz nights, rock n’ roll too! In the summer and fall our beautiful patio features a bandstand for popular local bands with a scenic and relaxing golf course view and full beverage and food service. Surprisingly good! Owner was cool, steak nite was great, lots on menu and ranch was good! Band was OK, but food n drinks made up for it. Worth a visit!
