Who We Are: C. Hall Consulting is owned and operated by Corey Hall. Hall has taught composition and literature classes at two-year colleges in Chicago and the suburbs for nearly 20 years. Since 2006, he has published Expressions From Englewood, an annual journal that features work from people who live, work, and/or go to school in Englewood. In June 2013, shortly after the publication of Expressions From Englewood, Volume Six, Hall was recognized as one of Chicago’s Top 50 Movers and Shakers on Chicago’s literary scene by Newcity newspaper. In November 2013, Hall’s work with Expressions From Englewood earned him the Kathy Osterman Award in the Outstanding Educational Employee category. Hall’s features and fiction have appeared in the JazzGram, Newcity, beansouptimes.com, jazzreview.com, the Trumpet, and the Chicago Defender, among many other publications. Why We are Here: C.
