Quite a few people ask whether we cater for coeliac sufferers. (Allergy or intolerance to wheat, rye and barley). Our pizza dough contains wheat flour but we always have gluten free pasta and various other dishes can be prepared without flour. Amongst others, our meat dishes and various starters also. We often also have dishes on our specials board that can be adapted or that don't involve flour. With regards to lactose intolerant customers - quite a lot of our dishes would be suitable and others can be adapted to suit. We always have goats cheese and fresh buffalo mozzarella which some sufferers can tolerate? We also have about 15 vegetarian dishes on our menu and as everything is mostly made to order - we can adapt most other dishes for vegetarians. Hope this is helpful and that I've got my facts right!

For those of you asking, you can find our opening days/hours under 'about' (next to timeline) in 'page info', under 'general information'. Alternatively, for a quick look, if you hover over the photo of the pizza oven the info will come up.
And, by the way, good to be back and will be posting some photos of the snow capped apennines soon
For those of you asking, please note we do not have a website but should you need any specific information I would be glad to provide it. Opening times/days are on this page as is some basic information regarding specific dietary requirements. A lot of people are also enquiring about our price range. Prices range from approximately £5 to £13 apart from some sides, eg garlic pizza, which start from £2. A couple of specials (eg fresh swordfish) are usually priced around £15. Hope this is helpful. Put it this way, you won't break the bank and you won't leave feeling hungry!
Respect and thanks to all our regular customers who weren't 'cowed by the ring of steel' put up during the NATO visit and who supported us. We were really expecting to be very quiet as it proved tricky to get into the City Centre, with a lot of businesses deciding to close. We were definitely not quiet! Character, and characters, always shine through! x
We'll be rested and ready to reopen on Wednesday 3rd September! One of our staff will be available on Tuesday to take telephone reservations for Wednesday onwards. x
Dear all, we will be closed for a summer break from Sunday 24th August, reopening on either Tuesday 2nd or Wednesday 3rd September, and will advise which soon. Happy holidays!
Please note that we reopen on Tuesday at 5pm after the Easter weekend.
We're open as usual on Good Friday and Saturday - closed as usual on (Easter) Sunday and Monday. Have a lovely weekend!
How's this - as a business I know we're not really open for debate but we promise we will never (as much as you may think you want us to) try to buy your likes - 'cause morality rules - even in business!
Answers in an envelope please
I just can't decide - I mean I know Facebook is a hugely useful tool but is it also a great big tool?
Facebook, in all their anonyminity (?) and almost like a big caring brother, emailed me tonight to say I haven't posted anything on this page of interest lately - they are obviously unaware that there is another universe out there where we also 'share' and 'like'! But hey, watch this space.....
Wishing all you mums out there love, happiness, peace and sunshine x
Our new pizza oven is up and running! It's thankfully slightly bigger than the old one so can manage a couple more pizzas. Thanks to everyone for your positive feedback.
