Description

Opened in 1998 by Julia and Lev Atlas, Russian Cafe-Gallery Cossachok is Scotland’s first and only authentic Russian Restaurant. This venue aims to keep its Russian roots intact, bringing cuisine, hospitality and culture to the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City. The kitchen’s allegiance to former Soviet territories - from Russia and Moldavia to Armenia and Georgia - is evident on the menu featuring borscht, country soup made with cabbage, tomato, beetroot, garlic and coriander; Rostovsky platter, a duet of beetroot-raisin and carrot-garlic salads; aubergine ratatouille accompanied by just-baked pancakes.
