Independent Cafe-- serving coffee, artisanal teas, wine and beer and Iranian-inspired food.
An Iranian and community-driven Cafe located in the West Village, New York City, our name is borrowed from a much-loved Cafe in Tehran that was a hotbed of intellectual life throughout the 60's. We serve locally roasted Gimme Coffee!, hand-blended artisanal teas, craft beers and wine. Our menu includes fresh and made-from-scratch Iranian dishes such as Ash-e Resteh (herbal gumbo) and Kuku Sabzi (baked frittata) as well as Persian-inspired bistro-fare. We offer bar-friendly small bites, sandwiches and a vegetarian Beet Burger. Specials include Lamb Kebab (every Thursday night) and Gormeh Sabzi (a rich stew with beef, beans, herbs and dry lemons). Started by a collective of Iranian-Americans with a goal to harness creativity and foster dialogue within the community, special events include art exhibits, live music and readings.

Offering a distinct sense of arrival and discovery. Our first TAO venue where guests descend into a multi-level space.
Cafe Tallulah is a two-level restaurant with a cafe & bar upstairs, and another bar and cocktail lounge downstairs. It is the sexiest addition to the Upper West Side since Lauren Bacall moved into the Dakota.
