People aren't born on the street. Nor do lives have to end there. With help, it's where some lives begin. Since 1961 we have been dedicated to serving our community through providing essential services to Calgary's homeless, marginalized and low-income residents. We commit to effectively meet Calgary's changing needs for shelter, care, employment support and housing. And we strive to meet everyone who requires our services at eye level - with the promise to help them get wherever it is they want to go. We aim to strengthen our impact through strong ties with civic and provincial governments, funders and community organizations.

We provide a complete range of wraparound services to Calgary's homeless, marginalized and low-income residents, including: - Meals, Clothing, Hygiene Services & Shelter - Counselling - On-site Intox & Harm Reduction Facility - Referrals to Addiction & Mental Health Resources - Employment Training, Support & Placement - Computer Training - Computers for Low Income Calgarians - Supportive & Permanent Housing To prevent homelessness where possible, offer care and shelter when needed, and provide opportunities for people to rehabilitate and rebuild their lives.
