Calgary Freeriderz is a Freestyle Ski Club focusing on slopestyle and big mountain skiing at Lake Louise. We cater to athletes ranging from ages 12-20. We have fun, we work hard, we get results. As an intermediate to advanced skill ski club, our athletes come to us ready to take on the next challenge and the next step in their freestyle development. Our job is to get them ready for that - safely, successfully and while having fun. Competition is encouraged. With the right combination of planning and coaching our program is designed to meet the growing needs for high performance training. Our goal is to develop our athletes to the best of their abilities and desire. Community is important to us. We maintain a small club feel with smaller group training and a low coach-to-athlete ratio to allow for more individualized attention. Our coaches and athletes are ambassadors not only for the Calgary Freeriderz but for the sport of freestyle skiing and youth sports at large. Although the definition of freestyle is broad - moguls, halfpipe, slopestyle, aerial and big mountain skiing – the Calgary Freeriderz has evolved to focus primarily on slopestyle, big air and big mountain.
