Victoria Schwab's latest, THIS SAVAGE SONG, comes out this month. While you are hankering for it, here are some more monstrous titles in this month's Readalikes: http://library.booksite.com/6216/nl/?list=CNL12
Happy weekend! I know you're on your way to the library to find a great book to enjoy on this beautiful day! Meanwhile, here are some baby otters... (How's that for shameless promotion! From now on, you will forever associate the library with unbearable cuteness!) http://en.rocketnews24.com/2014/05/01/devastatingly-cute-otters-strike-again-this-time-theyre-just-little-babies%E3%80%90pics-and-videos%E3%80%91/

Happy start of summer vacation! In between sleeping and napping, you can stop on over to the Teen Room and find some great books to enjoy on your break. I just realized I forgot to post the link to the CRLS Summer Reading Guide, so here it is: http://crls.cpsd.us/UserFiles/Servers/Server_3045299/File/news/2015-16/crls_summer_reading_2016.pdf In case you missed this exciting news, this summer you get to read WHATEVER YOU WANT :D We've just made some suggestions on this list. But if you just want to read the entire Hellblazer series, I, for one, salute you.
Woo, 75 years! And still amazeballs. I would really like to have Wonder Woman Day (with costumes, naturally) here at the library. http://www.themarysue.com/dc-celebrates-wonder-woman-75/
It can be hard to know what to do after something terrible happens. But even long after people's immediate physical needs have been met, your words can help. Two sites have been created, #WeAreOrlando.org and #SomosOrlando.org, where you can share a message of hope and love with the families of the victims and survivors of Sunday's shooting. Posting the links down below. http://www.weareorlando.org/espanol.html http://www.weareorlando.org/ http://www.weareorlando.org/message-of-hope.html http://www.weareorlando.org/social-posts.html
Tomorrow's crafty goodness! We are making these dope paper cube figures (not just these guys, I have other options, but look at that R2 unit, I mean JUST LOOK AT IT <3)
This year's Boston Teen Author Festival is going to be the biggest yet -- and they are looking for volunteers! BTAF will be held at the Cambridge Public Library AND Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School, so if you think you could be helpful giving directions, getting all those authors where they need to go, and giving out swag and rafflet tickets, you should join up! In order to volunteer you MUST be available for the entire day of the event, and you MUST be able to attend an orientation prior to the event so you can get the rundown of how things will work and familiarize yourself with the layout of the school. All volunteers get free lunch and a BTAF t-shirt. Go HERE for the full details: http://www.bostonteenauthorfestival.com/volunteer.html
