So Cambridge, what is it?? Well firstly let me tell you how I started; I was in Thailand in February on the beach stood next to my best friend as she said "I do" with her size 8 figure and I felt like a whale! When I got home I knew I had to do something cos I hated looking at the pictures of myself! I discovered Cambridge and initially thought I would give in very soon! In 1 month I had lost a stone so this was my motivation to carry on. People started noticing and I stared to feel much better about myself. It soon became a way of life and I adapted to the plan cos of how great it made me feel. I had dropped 2 dress sizes in 3 months and was happy to tell people how I did it. I became a consultant in August and have subsequently lost a further half stone and am now wearing size 8 clothes!! Will I keep it off...damned right - there's no way I want to feel like I did in March and no way I'm throwing out all my new size 8 clothes!! The real benefit of this diet is that no one needs to know you're doing it. The consultations are 1:1 with me and in confidence - none of this going to a big group and having to applaud some stranger for losing half a pound!! I didn't tell anyone I had followed a diet until I had lost the first stone and a half and then I came clean. The reason being is that when people know you're on a diet, the only thing they want to ask you is "how's the diet going?"!! Because I wasn't going to a class I had no worries of anyone seeing me so I could stick to plan without having to explain myself. Cambridge has 30 years of research and everyone has to complete a medical questionnaire and strict medical protocols are in place so this ensures you are doing what is right for you as an individual. Everyone I know who has done Cambridge has kept their weight off, that's because there are steps in place to maintain the loss. Is it expensive? It depends what price people put on health, weight and feelings! A typical weeks supply of products is around £45 however, there is no consultation charge and I know from experience, I was spending much more than £45 at the supermarket just to feed myself! I now run the consultancy business from home in addition to my full time job. I make the time for my Cambridge clients because I find it so rewarding helping people feel as great as I do!
