The Camelot opened in 1965 as the Camelot Inn and later became the Camelot Hotel and then the Camelot Parkside Hotel. It was “the hotel” of Tulsa at one time. During the 80′s it suffered a decline in use and was not kept up and eventually abandoned. In 1996 it was condemned for public habitation, not because it was structurally unsound, but because of health concerns.The Camelot was finally demolished on Tuesday, December 02, 2008.
