CBRO's aim to serve the stateless Rohingya
We, are pleased to announce the formation of the Canadian Burmese Rohingya Organization (CBRO) on 23rd March 2008. The newly settled Rohingya Canadians of Burmese origin founded the Organization. CBRO is a representative organization of the Canadian ethnic Roningya minority of Burma. It is primarily dedicated to serve the needs of the newly settled Rohingyas in Canada in health, education and welfare. CBRO is also aims to work with other Burmese ethnic groups in their general welfare in Canada. CBRO is also aims to work in the field of education, health and welfare of Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand and in others countries. CBRO also aims to help the Rohingya people in Arakan. Rohingyas are the worst victims of human rights violations under the prolonged military rule. CBRO aims to help the restoration of the democracy, human rights, peace, justice and freedom for all people of Burma regardless of race, religion, color and cultural orientation. CBRO as a Canadian Organization monitors the situation of refugees in Bangladesh Refugee Camps, in Malaysia, in the Middle East and developments in Arakan State, and shares ideas with various NGO and the media. CBRO believes that Rohingya people as a peaceful Community in Canada and in the Canadian multicultural milieu shall continue to make strives to live in peace and harmony with other Canadians. As a peaceful and non-violent community organization, the CBRO aims to work with Canada’s different ethnic, pro-democracy and human rights groups working locally and internationally for Burma for the interest of Rohingya Community to see an end to the military dictatorship in Burma. CBRO is an independent organization of Canadian Rohingya people of Burmese origin and believes in nonviolence. It also does not support extremism of any kind and is dedicated to serve humanity. Currently, main office in based in Kitchener, Ontario, of Canada.
