We understand the devastating impact a cancer diagnosis and its treatment has and are here to support the whole family so they don’t have to face cancer alone. We support children and young people aged 0-25 diagnosed with cancer or living with a parent diagnosed with cancer. . Our Support is not just focused on the young person but is built around the whole family, with the aim of helping them cope with the impact cancer has on their lives. Our Services include: - Individual Support - Residential and Community Group Work - Bereavement Support - Therapeutic Short Breaks - Financial Grants With a Head Office at Curlew Pavilion in Belfast’s Harbour Estate, and a therapeutic Short Break Centre in Newcastle Co.Down we are able to extend their services to every part of Northern Ireland. Cancer Fund for Children is registered with the NI Charity Commission for Northern Ireland NIC100532.
Cancer Fund for Children rebuild young lives devastated by cancer. We do this by providing practical, financial and emotional support, as well as free therapeutic short breaks to children, young people and their families throughout Northern Ireland. And if the worst happens, we will continue to support bereaved families to help them cope throughout this difficult time. Our Community and Residential Services ensure that young people who experience cancer in their lives are supported to thrive physically, emotionally, socially and educationally in order to reach their full potential in later life.
