NO. http://www.newslodi.com/health/232266-cannabis-kills-cancer-cells-without-harming-healthy-ones

CANNA MOTIVATIONAL MONDAYS: Advice from Old People #3 The third installment of wise words from some older people: 7. Years go by in the blink of an eye. Don’t marry young. Live your life. Go places. Do things. If you have the means or not. Pack a bag and go wherever you can afford to go. While you have no dependents, don’t buy stuff. Any stuff. See the world. Look through travel magazines and pick a spot. GO! 8. Don’t take life so seriously. Even if things seem dark and hopeless, try to laugh at how ridiculous life is. 9. A true friend will come running if you call them at 2am. Everyone else is just an acquaintance.

CANNA MOTIVATIONAL MONDAYS: Advice from Old People #2 The second installment of wise words from some older people: 4. Jealousy destroys relationships. Trust your significant other, because who else are you supposed to trust? 5. People always say, ’’Make sure you get a job doing what you love!’’ But that isn’t the best advice. The right job is the job you love some days, can tolerate most days, and still pays the bills. Almost nobody has a job they love every day. 6. If you’re getting overwhelmed by life, just return to the immediate present moment and savour all that is beautiful and comforting. Take a deep breath, relax.
Canna Fitness Fridays: Being fit and capable isn't about big muscles. It's about being able to do the things you need to do, when you need to do them. What a noble use of one's physical abilities! Darrel Smith, you are an inspiration and a true man.

CANNA MOTIVATIONAL MONDAYS: Advice from Old People #4 The fourth installment of wise words from some older people: 10. Children grow up way too fast. Make the most of the time you have with them. 11. Nobody ever dies wishing they had worked more. Work hard, but don’t prioritize work over family, friends, or even yourself. 12. Eat and exercise like you’re a diabetic heart patient with a stroke — so you never actually become one.
CannaFitness™ Fridays: Really exciting...because the concept relates to a future goal for Canna Fitness Lifestyle. CANNA WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS: What would you risk to get the word out that cannabis has health and wellness benefits? A career in the NFL? Thanks to brave folks like Eugene Monroe, the truth is starting to get out. A very good article.
CANNA WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS: Have you ever wondered what the GOVERNMENT has to say about cannabis and its possible health effects? The information below is straight from the National Cancer Institute, a division of the U.S Department of Health and Human Services: Preclinical studies of cannabinoids have investigated the following: Antitumor activity: •Studies in mice and rats have shown that cannabinoids may inhibit tumor growth by causing cell death, blocking cell growth, and blocking the development of blood vessels needed by tumors to grow. Laboratory and animal studies have shown that cannabinoids may be able to kill cancer cells while protecting normal cells. •A study in mice showed that cannabinoids may protect against inflammation of the colon and may have potential in reducing the risk of colon cancer, and possibly in its treatment. •A laboratory study of delta-9-THC in hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) cells showed that it damaged or killed the cancer cells. The same study of delta-9-THC in mouse models of liver cancer showed that it had antitumor effects. Delta-9-THC has been shown to cause these effects by acting on molecules that may also be found in non-small cell lung cancer cells and breast cancer cells. •A laboratory study of cannabidiol (CBD) in estrogen receptor positive and estrogen receptor negative breast cancer cells showed that it caused cancer cell death while having little effect on normal breast cells. Studies in mouse models of metastatic breast cancer showed that cannabinoids may lessen the growth, number, and spread of tumors. •A laboratory study of cannabidiol (CBD) in human glioma cells showed that when given along with chemotherapy, CBD may make chemotherapy more effective and increase cancer cell death without harming normal cells. Studies in mouse models of cancer showed that CBD together with delta-9-THC may make chemotherapy such as temozolomide more effective. Stimulating appetite: •Many animal studies have shown that delta-9-THC and other cannabinoids stimulate appetite and can increase food intake. Pain relief: •Cannabinoid receptors (molecules that bind cannabinoids) have been studied in the brain, spinal cord, and nerve endings throughout the body of animals to understand their roles in pain relief. •Cannabinoids have been studied for anti-inflammatory effects that may play a role in pain relief. •Animal studies have shown that cannabinoids may prevent nerve problems (pain, numbness, tingling, swelling, and muscle weakness) caused by some types of chemotherapy. Nausea and vomiting: •Cannabinoid receptors found in brain cells may have a role in controlling nausea and vomiting. Animal studies have shown that delta-9-THC and other cannabinoids may act on cannabinoid receptors to prevent vomiting caused by certain types of chemotherapy. Anxiety and sleep: •Cannabinoid receptors found in the brain and other parts of the nervous system may be involved in controlling mood and anxiety. •Anti-anxiety effects of cannabidiol (CBD) have been shown in several animal models.
CANNA MOTIVATIONAL MONDAYS: Advice from Old People #1 Life is full of lessons. And the longer you live, the more opportunities you have to be schooled. For the next several weeks, Canna Fitness Lifestyle will focus on bringing you the life wisdom of some old people. Take their advice to heart. 1. The most important person in your life is the person who agreed to share their life with you. Treat them as such. 2. You might live a long life, or you might live a short one — who knows. But either way, trust me when I say that you’re going to wish you took better care of yourself in your youth. 3. Stuff is just stuff. Don’t hold onto material objects, hold onto time and experiences instead.
