The grand total raised for Djala and his family was a whopping £1334.36. Well done and thank you to everybody who participated and donated. Rebecca Leather the representative from The Aspinall Foundation came along to our award ceremony on Thursday and was presented with the money. Rebecca was thrilled to hear the amount we raised for the gorillas and informed us it was more than any other organisation had yet raised in one go!!!!!! :-D A special thanks goes out to our level 2 student Pippa Piper who managed to raise £346, which was more than any other group combined!! A huge thank you to you Pippa. Djala and his family will be moving back home this coming Sunday, we wish them all luck in their new home.
Would like to say a massive congratulations to all those students who recieved the outstanding student certificate and to all those that recieved certificates in their own categories. But mostly well done to everybody for completing your courses with us. It has been a great year and we look forward to seeing most of you back in September. :D
