Learn About Life - Annual BIOSI event for visiting primary schools The School of Biosciences runs an annual event for visiting primary school pupils (9-11 years). This year's event will be run on Wed 3rd and Thursday 4th June from 9.45am until 2.15pm on both days. The event consists of a series of rotating 15 minute workshops, which are run by staff and/or postgrad students. There are workshops on cells in the body, wildlife, neuroscience and physiology. This is an ideal opportunity to learn from the experience of staff and other postgraduate students and will build a number of key skills, as well as add to your CV. You only need to be available for at least 1 (approx 1 hour) session on one of these days (sessions are 9.45-11am, 11.20-12.20 and 1-2.15pm). See attached flier for images from previous events. If you are interested, please contact Dr Fiona Wyllie (Wyllie@cardiff.ac.uk) - with a rough idea of your availability and which type of workshop you would like to help out with (if you have a preference).
