Carla is a freelance makeup artist and hair stylist working in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her stunning work has been featured in in many publications, such as ‘Style Me Pretty,’ ‘Wedding Belles,’ ‘B. Loved,’ and ‘Love Toast.’ She has been in the fashion and beauty industry for more than ten years, holding a diploma in Freelance Makeup Artistry from Blanche Macdonald as well as one in Fashion Merchandising. Carla loves what she does and can’t imagine doing anything else! Carla has always been the creative type, with a passion for anything to do with the beauty industry; fashion, makeup, hair, jewelry, you name it -she loved it! Her early captivation with makeup and its effect on people shines through in the concise and flawless work that she does. Some women have trouble seeing their beauty, but with a little makeup that can easily change. Makeup isn’t about covering up imperfections it’s about enhancing your natural beauty. As Calvin Klein once said, “The best thing is to look natural, but it takes makeup to look natural!” Carla knows makeup isn’t only about the application process, it’s also about really listening to clients. Any colour or style can look good on anyone, but that doesn’t mean you’ll feel comfortable wearing it. It’s important to take the time to talk and figure out your skin type, skin care needs and issues, as well as the end goal. Together, you and Carla will figure out the best way to get you there. Her goal isn’t just to help you figure out your plan for your special day, it’s to help you build a plan that you can use every day. Over the years, countless brides have benefitted from her patience and calming presence while trusting her to make them look their best on their most important day. Makeup artists aren't just reserved for the bride. Carla has assembled a team of experienced makeup artists and hair stylists, ready to tackle any size bridal party.
