Brought to you by the same people who have been haunting the Pittsburgh Southside at the infamous Jekyl & Hyde for almost two decades, Carmella's Plates & Pints is now open for business! As opposed to Jekyl & Hyde's Halloween theme, Carmella's has a new and unique design, instead offering a calm and comfortable environment that is as classy and fun as the women it is named after, who by the way, you'll be seeing a lot of around the restaurant. Just because we're the new bar on the block, doesn't mean that you have to worry getting anything but the best service. Our staff is made up of some of the coolest and friendliest people you'll ever meet. Come check us out once and I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of you. Keep tuned in! In just a few short months, Carmella's will also be opening the restaurant portion of our establishment. Soon enough, you'll be able to enjoy great food with your great drinks.

Sunday brunch tomorrow begins at 11-3pm. We will also open early on Memorial Day at 1pm, serving food all day. The race for 4 more wins for our Pens in the Stanley cup begins at 8pm. Have a great weekend everyone!!!
This weekends specials include a BBQ Board with lamb ribs, smoked chicken, pulled pork, baked beans, slaw, and more. Also we have a chilled squid ink pasta with octopus terrine, anchovy, smoked olives, and confit tomato.

After finally receiving all of the donations for our Charity Barcrawl Event this past Saturday, May 21st- we raised a total of $2360.00 for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. Thanks to all who joined us and helped raise money for a cure. The next Charity Barcrawl for the Leukemia/ Lymphoma Society will be on Saturday , November 5th. Start getting ready :-)

Good morning!! Congratulations to all the people who are graduating today. Looks like it is going to be a beautiful day. We are open for brunch at 11am and will run till 3 pm. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. The chef is serving some special dishes for tomorrow's brunch such as Scallops Benedict, bourbon maple bacon grits with duck ham, fresh made donut holes and a few other surprises.
