We are a pre-professional organization whose primary goal is to assist in preparing our members to be active leaders and participants in the profession of nursing upon graduation & licensure. Along the way we will reach out to our community, make new friends, and have a great time! The Charity Association of Student Nurses (CASN) is an official constituent of the National Student Nurses' Association, Inc. All student nurses are welcome to join. Membership in CASN is concurrent with membership in NSNA and LASN, the Louisiana Association of Student Nurses. Go to https://nsnamembership.org and join NSNA. HOW TO JOIN NSNA, LASN AND CASN....It’s easy!!!! There are two ways: 1. Join online at www.nsna.org Follow the JOIN NSNA membership link and submit your application and dues directly to NSNA. You will be issued a membership number which we will need for CASN. The dues of $35.00 includes both national and state level membership. NSNA accepts payment by Money Order, credit card, and check. Then bring us your membership number, complete the Membership Application here at Charity, and pay your CASN dues, $10.00. Then you may purchase a red CASN tee-shirt, for members only, and a CASN pin which may be worn with the nursing uniform! OR 2. at Charity, complete a Membership Application and submit your dues for NSNA with a check payable to NSNA for $35.00. We will mail it in for you. Then pay your CASN dues, $10.00 with a check made to CASN or cash. You may purchase a red CASN tee-shirt, for members only, and a CASN pin which may be worn with the nursing uniform!
