Description

The Catch A Lift Fund (CAL) is a charity organization that provides gym memberships, in home gym equipment, nutrition and exercise plans and peer support to post 9/11 combat wounded veterans. CAL is the first of it's kind in the veteran organization community. We fill an under served niche, bridging the gap between physical fitness and peer to peer motivational support. CAL not only provides Veterans with the fitness program they themselves have chosen, we also provide them with the support and tools to best utilize their CAL grant and maximize their fitness potential. According to doctors and clinicians in VA's across the country, Catch A Lift Fund is the #1 most requested nonprofit by wounded veterans, while exercise is the most recommended source of rehabilitation. With over 800 gyms currently working with our organization, corporate partnerships with 4 major fitness chains and a home gym equipment program developed with the help of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the Catch A Lift Fund is the best positioned non profit organization to meet the fitness needs of America's combat wounded veterans. Founded in memory of Cpl. Coffland, a man who believed a healthy body meant a healthy mind, the Catch A Lift Fund uses every day to ensure our veterans are utilizing their grants, maximizing their fitness potential, and have a voice when it comes to their wellness. The Catch A Lift Fund is a national 501c3 nonprofit which provides post 9/11 combat wounded Veterans with the ability to heal through individualized fitness programs and a proprietary peer support system; encompassing motivation, accountability, and the scientifically proven correlation between fitness and mental health.
