This is a heartbreaking story of Susy, a mother who traveled to the U.S. from El Salvador to build a better future for her children. As a result, she hasn't seen her two children since 2000. She has a lawful standing in the US. and holds a work permit, but her type of immigration status won’t allow her to leave the country and reenter the U.S. For now all she can do is connect with her family by phone or by video chat. Pray that one day her family will be reunited.

Like farmers everywhere, farmers in eastern Ethiopia’s Oromia Region look to the sky for the two elements they need most: sun and water. Ethiopia gets a lot of sun, but has not had much rain this year. Now food is running dangerously short. With funding from USAID - US Agency for International Development and USAID Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance we're helping people adapt new practices and technologies to mitigate the devastating effects of climate change. #OurEarthOurFuture
