Professional dancer/instructor from the Caribbean (Cayman Islands). Offering salsa instruction, show dance and wedding dance choreography.

Description

Salsa group session, learn how to freestyle as well as choreography/routines. Full one hour sessions for the group. Private lessons - on request. Any level from beginner to advanced. Starting with basic footwork and lead/follow, through a wide range of steps and variations. The group session is a mixed level class. Starting of with a basic sequence, variations in step, technique, styling and performance are explored so that everyone can be challenged appropriately. Advanced moves (lifts, dips and tricks) also explored, easy to do even for beginners. Partners not required, partners are regularly changed. Great way to learn as each partner will have a slightly different response. Dance with a difference, learn to be different, don't be just one of the crowd. Space available to practice afterwards (until 1.30pm) If you happen to find yourself in the Cayman Islands, let me know as I also teach there when on island. (World Gym, Seven Mile Beach, Thursdays 7pm to 8.30pm, CI$5)
