Founded in 1967, CCFA is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization with the mission to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. today, the organization has grown to 40 local chapters, with more than $150 million raised and invested in research for a cure. This funding has enabled many groundbreaking treatments, improved the quality of care for individuals with these conditions and brought hope to countless lives. Through events like Take Steps and Team Challenge, participants raise funds and awareness throughout the year and come together to celebrate the steps that have been taken towards a cure.
