Parents of 5th graders are invited to attend the 6th Grade Orientation Night on Tuesday, April 21st at 7 p.m. at Prairie Knolls Middle School. The evening will focus on many aspects of your child's transition to middle school including 6th grade class offerings, extra-curricular activities and transportation.
Way to go, Rockets! The CHS Girls Soccer team remains undefeated as they overpowered Harvard 9 - 0 on Monday. The team takes on Johnsburg tonight at home at 6 p.m.
CHS Parents: Did you know that a number of summer enrichment programs for your student can be found in Naviance? These can be located under the ‘Colleges’ tab. Scroll down to ‘College Research’ and then click on ‘Enrichment Programs.’ You can then either scroll through all the programs or search for a particular program based on topic.

Country Trails Elementary School 2nd and 3rd grade music programs are Thursday, March 26. 2nd Grade will perform from 6 - 6:30 p.m. 3rd Grade will perform from 7 - 7:30 p.m.
There may be snow on the ground, but spring sports season is underway! On Saturday, the Rockets Baseball team won their season opener 11 to 1 over Crystal Lake Central. The team takes on Hampshire tonight at 4:30 at home. CHS Girls Soccer also scored a win over the weekend. The Rockets shut out Hampshire 9-0. They travel to Sycamore on Tuesday.
Congratulations to the CHS Boys Golf Team! The group advanced to a sectional for the sixth year in a row after shooting a 330 at the Class 2A Genoa-Kingston regional.
CMS Cheerleading and Boys Basketball tryouts are next week. Cheer: Tues-Thurs October 13-15 from 3-5 p.m. in the CMS cafeteria Basketball: Thursday and Friday, October 15 and 16 from 3-5 p.m. Students must have a current physical, concussion form, and signed athletic agreement on file in order to participate.
REMINDER: Thursday, October 8th, Central 301 schools will follow an early-dismissal schedule. There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 9th or Monday, October 12th.
