Notre Mission + Travailler à la conservation de l`héritage et de la culture francophone. + Promouvoir des activités sociales, culturelles, sportives, économiques et religieuses parmi les francophones de Cambridge et des environs. + Promouvoir la conservation et l`expension de la langue et de l`héritage canadien français dans notre secteur. + L`éducation et l`information par nos activités sociales et nos célébrations communautaires. + L`épanouissement de notre communauté francophone qui vit en situation minoritaire en Ontario.
General Info
C`est en septembre 1958 qu`un groupe d`amis francophones décident de former une ligue de hockey composée de deux équipes. Avec la précieuse aide financière de M. Dominique Filion ce projet devient réalité. Ce fût le commencement d`activités en français à Galt. En 1960, un ligue de quilles est formée. En 1961 on fonde le Club Social Canadien Français, grâce à la participation des membres des clubs de hockey et de quilles. La première activité sociale a été une danse de l`Halloween en octobre 1961. En 1969, le Club Social Canadien Français achète le terrain actuel. Sur ce terrain se trouvait une maison et un poulailler. C`est là dans "le poulailler" qu`ont eu lieu de joyeuses rencontres et soirées amicales où il faisait bon se rendre pour fraterniser en français.Company Rating

Raise awareness of all publicly accessible live music events happening in the City of Cambridge. 2. Facilitate the opportunity for more live music events to be presented in our community. 3. Work collaboratively to improve the quality of live music events being presented in our community. Cambridge Live Music is a not-for-profit arts and culture organization operated by dedicated volunteer artists and fans who are passionate about Cambridge's live music community. We primarily promote Cambridge's live music by publishing a freely accessible online Cambridge Live Music Calendar that has become the most accurate and comprehensive source of live music listings for the City of Cambridge, Ontario. Anyone presenting live music of any genre can submit their events to our website and take advantage of our absolutely free advertising. In addition, we publish 80 Cambridge Live Music posters on a monthly basis that we distribute throughout Waterloo Region and are on display for the whole month. Cambridge Live Music is funded entirely through sponsorship, fundraising and donations, as we do not currently receive grants from any level of government. We are actively soliciting individuals and businesses to consider making a financial contribution so we can continue to build our not-for-profit community organization - Cambridge Live Music. Cambridge Live Music is NOT a booking agent, booking agency, venue owner or promoter of any single artist or venue.
