Centurion Bar and Deli is the transformed first class lounge based in Newcastle Central Station with a wide variety of draught beers, The Centurion is fully accredited with the Cask Marque Trust, our beer exceeds the standards expected of the trust and we fully embody the philosophies of the trust, including the try before you by scheme. If you have any questions about any of our products please don’t hesitate to ask at the bar and someone will be able to help. We have 3 permanent beers and 2 constantly changing guests. Our permanents beers are: Black Sheep Bitter – 4.3% We are proud to be a flagsheep pub details details of which can be found be here. Deuchars IPA - Jarrow Rivet Catcher – 4% Champion Beer of Britain Silver Medal Winner 2005 & North East Beer Of The Year 2005 Guests: Within the last year we have had over 100 different beers from breweries all round the country but here at the Centurion we try to show case local products so with that in mind below is a list of the breweries we commonly use: · Allendale · Big Lamp · Consett Ale Works · Captain Cook · Durham · Jarrow · Hadrian & Border · High House Farm · Hill Island Durham · Mordue · Wylam Aswell as the selection of hand pulls we offer we also offer a selection of whiskey, spirits, largers and draught cider to go with Newcastles biggest screen showing the biggest sporting events. Aswell as the bar Centurion offers food and hot drinks in our deli situated in the station itself. Meetings, functions and private parties are also on offer in our function rooms available for hire. Function rooms are also available for hire for pole dancing parties and lessons, popular with birthday's, nights out and hen parties.
