Changemaker High School is a public charter high school in central Tucson where we develop student leaders who turn ideas into action.

Description

Started in 2012, Changemaker High School (CMHS) has taken a creative approach to turning the tide on the state of education in Arizona through a creative model of changemaker education. As a founding member of Ashoka's International Secondary School Network, CMHS has built a educational program that creatively integrates scholarship with Empathy, Team Work, Problem Solving, and Leadership to create an Everyone A Changemaker World. We believe that all students deserve access to a quality education and should have the opportunity to discover their inner Changemaker. A Changemaker is anyone who, through his or her own idea, takes initiative and causes positive change for the greater good. Our school offers students the skills to engage their community and to create the change they wish to see in the world. Our innovative educational model helps Grow Minds, Grow Leaders, and Grow Community.
