Joanne Hendrick, OD Dr. Hendrick practices general optometry with a special interest in the fitting of contact lenses. A member of the American Optometric Association Contact Lens Section, she especially enjoys working with the newest materials available. This accounts for her high success rate with patients who are previous contact lens failures as well as those with difficult prescriptions. January 1997 Cynthia Cid, OD Dr. Cynthia Cid has a special interest in treating ocular disease, many times allowing for early detection and treatment of systemic illnesses. Dr. Cid received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages from Stephen F. Austin State University and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 2004. Following graduation, she completed a residency in Ocular Disease including management of cataracts, LASIK, glaucoma, and diabetic patients. She has completed the Anterior Segment Laser Certification and has successfully treated secondary cataracts and glaucoma patients with this modality. Dr. Cid is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Colorado Optometric Association. Dr. Murphy practices general optometry with a special interest in pediatric optometry and binocular vision including working with children and adults with strabismus, amblyopia, and visually related learning problems. She is currently working with local schools and home schooling organizations emphasizing the importance of efficient visual functioning and binocularity. She also finds working with head injury and stroke patients very rewarding. Dr. Murphy is a 2010 graduate of the New England College of Optometry where she graduated with honors. While in school she was very active with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and hopes to continue to be involved with philanthropies dedicated to providing vision care to the underprivileged. She is currently an active member of American Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Association and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
