This is a real story / Hello, My story begins with a divorce a year and a half ago. Since then, I have been on my own after 2 decades of marriage. Finances have been tough as I also lost my truck last years. Now, I have no vehicle and no job as of recent circumstances. My two older children live with me, also. So, I could use a vehicle to find a job quickly and help pay rent asap due to the fact I am out of funds. That is how my life could be changed by getting a vehicle.
This is a real story of someone who is in need of a vehicle ... anyone out there that would like to help please inbox me Still fighting tooth and nail My story is a long one that could fill more than an entire season of a daytime soap opera. My name is John and I have been struggling for the past two years. I have finally hit that point where I am in need of some help. I’m not the type of guy that normally asks for help from people. It’s usually been me giving the shirt off my back to help. If you’re the type of person I am, you know how hard it is to ask for help. It makes it even more difficult when you feel you are capable of providing for yourself and your son. My financial woes start a couple of years ago with a motorcycle accident. It moves from there into my previous employer selling the company and taking a 54% cut to my income. As you would expect any father to do, I sought extra employment and worked as many hours as I could. Fighting tooth and nail, I tried to pay back all of my debts to no avail. Late fees and charges pile up making my debt a nightmare leaving me with a negative income. So it’s come to me needing to file for bankruptcy. My car was repossessed at work with all of my co-workers noticing. Talk about embarrassing. Thankfully I live in a city that has a public transportation system to be able to get back and forth to work. Unfortunately, I work 28 miles in one direction away from home and this consumes my entire day just to be able to work. Every morning you’ll see me out at the bus stop at 5 am trying to get to work by 8 am. I do as much as possible to be able to save for a vehicle and file for bankruptcy but it’s not enough. It has been four months since I’ve seen my best friend. My best friend is 10 years old and my son. I work hard every day to be able to save for some vehicle to be able to see my son. It breaks my heart that I cannot see him on a regular basis. The only thing that is stopping me is the lack of transportation. His mother does not live near any bus lines nor does she attempt to help with the transportation of Cameron. I would not be asking for help if it was not for him. I can continue to take the bus to work for myself. I don’t mind having to stop by the grocery store every night to carry home a couple of bags of groceries. I don’t mind that an 8 hour work day takes up almost 13 hours because of the distance with the bus lines. What I am practically begging for help with is reliable transportation to see my son. I’m not a lazy man nor am I looking for a hand out. Please help me, you’re my last resort.

This is a real person that posted their story to our site. If you would like to help this applicant in any way inbox me or go to our website and review our other stories of people that just need a little help...... thanks happy holidays FAMILY OF 5, NEED HELP…MY DAUGHTER WAITED AT HER BUS STOP IN 4 DEGREE WEATHER HELLO….my name is Christine D. Tungovia, I have a family of 6, but 1 is there in the Valley. We are in need of a vehicle, my husband & I aren’t employed at this time, but are trying to search. We live on the Hopi Reservation, about 67 miles north of Winslow, AZ. Last week it was so cold, it was 4 degrees and my 8 year old went to her bus stop at her regular time, 7 AM (which is about 1/4 mile away from our mobile home). I was on Facebook (around 7:55 AM) and saw a post asking what was going on with the bus because it was late. It had been almost an hour for her in that 4 degrees, I jumped up and went to her bus stop and saw her face red and cold. We had to walk back home and I placed her right in front of our wood/coal stove. She was wearing insulated snow boots, but her feet were frozen. I’ve been needing to take them to the health care facility here which is about 8 miles one way. Our transit system has been suspended until further notice. When I finally got them to the ER, my 8 year old finally received her asthma medication and my 13 month old had ear infections in both ears. My teenage son is in high school and it’s hard for me to get to his games and functions and he’s graduating this school year. The same goes for my 8 year old, not making it to PTO and other functions. I feel so bad….I’m worried about my 8 year old as she waits by the roads by herself and when she gets off the bus. I feel like I’ve let my kids down….short on funds for the holidays, to get to the nearest town, which is that 67 miles to a Wal-mart, Safeway, bank, etc. I pray for some kind of help to ease some of my worry….stress. All I can do is ask for help. Thank you for your time and consideration.
