Cherry is the cosiest little rock 'n' roll bar in town! Cherry Bar was founded in December 1999 and we're the only actual business located in AC/DC Lane, a stone throw away from the corner of Flinders Lane and Russell Street. Basically hidden in a basement amongst where all the stock brokers and accountants have their offices in the central business district. We're a 200 odd cap venue and present bands locally and abroad on our stage whilst our Disc Jockeys keep the joint rockin' till 5AM Thursday through Saturday night (we are open all seven nights though!). We also have our rear Jenni bar which is a little spot available for functions and just hanging out... Train to Flinders St Station or Flagstaff Station, short 5-10 minute walk to Flinders Lane, between Russell & Exhibition Streets, down AC/DC Lane. Alternatively catch an eastbound tram from Flinders St Station, get off at Russell St, walk to Flinders Lane, and down AC/DC lane.
