At Children's Intensive Therapy NW we provide advanced individualized treatment and a lifetime of follow-up care to newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and into young adult hood with disabilities or complex medical needs. We treat patients with a variety of conditions including: • neurological disorders including cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and brachial plexus injury • acute and chronic orthopedic disorders including sports injuries • contengital syndromes such as Down's Syndrome or Angelman's Syndrome • pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation. Techniques we use include (but not limited to!): • Intensive Physical Therapy Sessions • Suit therapy using the TheraSuit Method, Universal Exercise Unit and Spider Cage • Hart Walker • Body Weight Supported Treadmill Training • Manual Therapy including Myofascial Release • Therapeutic Exercise to increase strength, range of motion and endurance • Therapeutic Activities to improve functional mobility such as rolling and walking • Balance and Coordination training • Threshold Electrical Stimulation • and more!
