Christ Church is one of the 30 undergraduate colleges of the University of Oxford. It is situated in the heart of the city of Oxford, close to the main University facilities and adjacent to Christ Church Meadow and the Isis and Cherwell Rivers. Christ Church was founded in 1546, and 450 years later it is still a large and vibrant academic community. There are about 425 undergraduate members of the college, together with around 250 graduate students, as well as about 100 teaching and research staff. The College attracts students from many different cultural, social and educational backgrounds. Whatever their origins, they all share a passion for learning and a commitment to their chosen course.
