☽◯☾ My whole life I dreamed of transforming myself into the Primal Woman; to embrace the darkness within myself and the cosmos, to become wild and tempestuous, to run with all the nocturnal creatures of the forest. I performed transformation rituals from childhood through the sacred tools of colour and brush; casting shapes and shadows from my imagination where I was queen of a secret universe where women and animals were kindred, sisters and brothers of nature who communicated without words. I dreamed of wild women, Starlight Witches who echoed the whisperings of the cosmic flow and channelled them into magick, of shimmering faery-eyed nymphettes with hair so fair they appeared as iridescent halos. Over time I refined my art by learning techniques through a BA in fine arts, and dedicated myself to photography, digital manipulation, and traditional illustration in watercolour and ink. My artwork is a reflection of my secret inner world, a landscape strung with stars where archetypes of nature and women of the Sun roam and weave their wild songs. After 11 years working as a professional graphic designer as well as freelance artist, I have gathered a large volume of images that are so numerous it’s overwhelming for me to try and organise an exhibition or art book without becoming lost in the possibilities of other projects. I decided to set my original artworks under glass to make jewellery in May 2012, and have been practicing and refining my aesthetic to create objects of adornment that are inspired by; The cosmos, fairytale witches, shipwrecks and Sirens, the Mermaid’s lure, the endless ocean depths and all of her watery secrets, lupine wizards and dream-travellers, warlocks and starlight witches, moon nymphs, faeries, felines and demigods. All of my jewellery features 100% original artwork and I don’t use copyrighted or vintage sources for my images, they are all created to tell a specific story - through symbolism, colour, symmetry and intention. Each piece of jewellery is hand-made and infused with luminous vibes and positive energy. I create each piece by hand in my own home, a ritual space that inspires me with beautiful things. Circle of Wolves jewellery is for those who have a yearning for nature and to be close to it, for cosmic wanderers, storm-maidens, sun-sprites, women of wilderness and fire, seekers of mysterious knowledge, lovers of the planets, stars and the moon. My jewellery and adornments are conjured and imbued with love and symbolism that can enhance your ritual work, or for everyday wear to keep you connected to the cosmos.
