Description

The Citrus County Public Safety Training Center currently offers Law Enforcement, Corrections and Firefighting as well as, Advanced Training courses for Criminal Justice and Firefighting professionals. All of our programs offer the highest level of academic and practical preparedness for active professionals and anyone interested in starting a new career.

General Info

Law Enforcement and Corrections classes are scheduled as follow: Daytime classes begin every January of that year. • The hours are 8 am to 5 pm • Monday through Thursday. (Some weekends and Fridays may apply). • Deadlines for applications are usually the second week of December. Nighttime classes begin every August of that year. • The hours are 5pm to 10 pm • Monday through Thursday. (Some weekends and Fridays may apply). • Deadlines for applications are usually the second week of July. The first step is to attend an academy introduction. The dates, times and dress code are on our website.
