Breathing exercises are by many people considered as spacey stuff. If you ever tried breathing exercises, you’ll probably have to admit that this is very substantial and effective. Breathing exercises bring not only your mind to rest, but also has an effect on your body (heart, brain activity, muscle tone, etc.). If your heart is to rest, your brains will have a rest your muscles relax, you will reduce stress tremendously. Breathing exercises help you de-stress and thus literally to relax. Go and sit in a quiet spot (preferably outside) and focus only on your breathing. Put one hand on your belly, Breathe deeply through your nose until the hand on your belly reaches its peak … Hold your breath for 1 second and then exhale for 4 seconds through your mouth. Repeat this breathing exercise several times until you feel the stress flows away.
