Cityscape is a highrise mixed-use development in Downtown Phoenix consisting of residential, retail, office, and hotel components. The project covers three downtown Phoenix city blocks and is located between First Avenue and First Street, and between Washington and Jefferson streets. Part of the development was built on the land formerly occupied by Patriots Square Park through a redevelopment agreement with the city of Phoenix. It is centrally located in the middle of Downtown Phoenix, within walking distance of US Airways Center, Chase Field, Comerica Theatre, the Orpheum Theatre (Phoenix, Arizona) and the Phoenix Convention Center.The CityScape development also hosts a number of events throughout the year, including the NRG Ice Rink in the winter, the start of the full P.F. Chang's Rock n’ Roll Arizona Marathon, and other events.Office TowerPhase I of the Project consists of a 27-story Class A office tower. Jennings Strouss & Salmon PLC has signed for 54,000 SF of office space in the office tower. The tower houses a number of corporate offices and law firms, including major tenants Alliance Bank and United Healthcare.Hotel/Residential TowerThe adjacent 24 has a dual purpose. The first 10 floors of the tower houses the 242 room boutique hotel, Hotel Palomar Phoenix by Kimpton. The Palomar opened in July of 2012. Floors 11 thru 24 are the Residences at Cityscape. The Residences offer 224 luxury apartments with penthouse units gracing the top floors.
