There is a multitude of components necessary for educationally preparing children for the future, such as reading comprehension and problem solving. At Clara Mohammed School Miami (CMS), an Islamic-based education is understanding of the concept of "worship". Each day, students are encouraged to individually acknowledge the Presence and Magnificence of Allah (G-d), and join his/her teacher in congregational prayer at the prescribed time. As a private institution, we believe that prayer is essential to proper preservation of the moral fibers of the society.

Principal's Message As November begins, students are well into the routines of school, and understand the expectations of their classes. In addition, we are looking at ways to integrate technology into our curriculum to enhance student learning. We need parents to volunteer to help set up our library and computer room. As a team we will ensure our students progress. The support of our parents makes CMS a very special place for students. One of our school’s strengths is encouraging communication between home and school throughout the year. A telephone conversation, note or email can be effective for keeping in touch. Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or school staff if you have concerns regarding your child’s progress; please become a volunteer. Nia Jackson, Principal
