Established in 1958 we are the longest running and most successful Dance Studios in Belfast. We strive to provide the best education in dance for young people and adults alike. With over 55 years of experience we have the most accredited and qualified teachers, to allow your child, and yourself to gain the best information and understanding of Dance. We provide many classes for many different ages, in our studios located in Upper Donegall Street. Newly refurbished with great facilities our studio has a surround sound music system, sprung maple dance floor, full mirrored studios, the perfect environment to learn in. ✮SOCIAL BALLROOM/ LATIN AMERICAN WITH ALAN CLARKE;✮ The most popular class would be the mixed Ballroom and Latin classes where we have great fun whilst learning with Alan. As a fellow of the National association of Dance teachers, H/Comm London, fellow of the All Ireland Board of Ballroom Dancing and Honorary member of the World Dance Council, he has experience beyond any in Latin American/ Ballroom and Argentine Tango. We learn Waltz to Tango, Cha Cha Cha to Jive and a few sequence dances thrown in for fun. Hip-Hop is one of the most successful and sought after classes. We provide classes from Beginner- Advanced for ages 4-18 with Tasha. Tasha is qualified in Hip-Hop/ Street Dance as an associate U.K.A member. She also was a backing dancer for Starboy Nathan on the Irish Leg of the JLS 4D tour 2012, and again for Hatty Keane on the Irish leg of the JLS Farewell tour 2013. With over 4 years experience in teaching classes and workshops all over belfast and beyond, her experience in Commercial Hip-Hop speaks for itself. Bringing you back to the time of the Napoleonic wars where thousands of european immigrants fled their homes to find work in what they believed to be a land of plenty , Argentina. They found their dreams shattered living in shanty towns fighting for work and money to send home to their families left behind. From their anger grew a style of dance that expressed deeply how they felt and gave them a release from their daily torment and hardship!
