Proud supporters of classical guitar since 1974
We love music. We especially love music that's played on classical guitars. The Classical Guitar Society of Calgary was founded in 1974 to promote interest in and study of classical guitar. That is still our goal. We bring some of the best classical guitarists from around the world to Calgary to perform and teach masterclasses. We also hold social gatherings where local amateur and professional guitarists perform for each other. Our concert season is only possible with the generous support of our donors, our members, Calgary Arts Development, and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. As a registered charity we issue tax receipts for all donations. If you are interested in donating to the society or if your business would like to sponsor us please email our president. We also hope that you will support the businesses that support us. To reserve tickets or join our email list please contact Vardhan Mulik - Secretary 587-435-7170 email: secretary@classicalguitarsocietyofcalgary.com If you're interested in performing here please contact Brett Gunther - Artistic Director email: artistic_director@classicalguitarsocietyofcalgary.com For anything else please contact Darren Young - President email: president@classicalguitarsocietyofcalgary.com Or contact us by mail at The Classical Guitar Society of Calgary PO Box 63205, Stadium RPO Calgary, AB T2N 4S5

Surreal perfection: A village where indie singer-songwriters, roots and country veterans and blues masters rub sonic shoulders with global electronica divas, Latin rhythm masters, Ukrainian rock bands and Congolese hipsters. Where on-the-fly collaborations create once-in-a-lifetime magic. All in a verdant urban setting that grounds a laidback, loving, ecologically astute community-for-a-day. We've got cool wind power and a hot main stage, an interactive family area, an international craft market, global culinary delights, a record tent and tree-shaded beer garden.
