Description

For the Cleveland Browns to be a truly successful organization, making a positive impact in our community is just as important on the field as off. Established in 1999, the Cleveland Browns Foundation envisions a community where all youth receive a high-quality education, from early childhood through college graduation, to establish a foundation for their independence and success. With education as the primary focus, the Foundation aims to identify and eliminate the barriers affecting studentsโ€™ readiness to learn so all individuals can reach their maximum potential and make a positive long term impact on Northeast Ohio. To do so, the Foundation supports sustainable, solution-based programs directed at improving childhood development and quality of education. This collaborative approach with proper measures in place will lead to significant change in the area of education reform.

On Tuesday, December 16, Cleveland Browns players and staff surprised over 300 students at Walton School with early Christmas presents! With the extreme generosity from WRs Andrew Hawkins and Miles Austin, the Foundation and Community Relations staff were able to buy gifts for each student and faculty member at Walton and were also able to present a check for $10,000 to help the school purchase a computer lab on wheels. Volunteers helped turn the cafeteria into a Winter Wonderland where students, grades K-8 unwrapped gifts and mingled with players. It was a magical day during the most magical time of the year
