Throughout his training and career, Dr. Sukkar has published on a broad range of topics in plastic surgery, both aesthetic and reconstructive. Dr. Sukkar firmly believes in the importance of continuing medical education (CME) and regularly attends plastic surgery meetings in the US and around the world. Dr Sukkar is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Houston Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Sukkar was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2002. Dr. Sukkar’s practice philosophy is patient-focused, with patient education as a central component. His manner is easy-going and calm. He spends time with his patients – making sure their questions are answered and their concerns are fully addressed. Dr. Sukkar also recognizes that the decision to undergo aesthetic plastic surgery is personal.
