In the run up to the general election in May 2015, the Peoples Bookshop will be hosting a monthly acoustic music event with the aim of building a coalition of resistance to the rightward drift of today’s political agenda. They say these days musicians are not politically active. Wrong. That is why we are inviting the people to join the resistance at the only independent radical bookshop in Durham. 4pm on the second Sunday of every month for the best in fiery debate, live music, comedy and revolutionary spoken word. Free admission.
