The Cocket Hat will be closing on the 16th of August for six weeks. After the refurbishment we will be transformed into a brand new Toby Carvery opening on the 22nd of September. Unfortunately Fuzy Eds will not re-open ,we are waiting on head office for more information as to when/if this will happen. So why not bring the kids down over the next couple of weeks for a last hopefully not final play.

As per yesterday's post, The Fuzy Eds brand is being put out to a national contractor for franchise ,if this does not happen then they will be looking at a local contractor. Currently fun houses do not fit in with the Toby brand so nothing will happen in the short term. Hogmanay will have to be revised ,we still have the licence for children till the terminal hour but again I can't comment on the fun house being open. As far as the loyalty cards go , it is my understanding that they will be retained and a similar scheme will be introduced for Toby. Toby Carvery is a national brand and is investing a massive amount of money in the Cocket Hat,not only in financial terms but employment also. This in turn will be great for our local area. We don't always get it right but we certainly don't stop trying.
