Hello hope you are having a wonderful day! I need your help & experience Who has been taking Stivarga (Regorafenib)? Which are the side effects? Does it work? Do you take with other chemo treatment or radiotherapy? We are very desperate because 1st and 2nd treatment were not working... Any comments / suggestions? By the way... What do you do to keep under control low back/bone pain? I am asking you these questions because this is the case: -Diagnosed colon cancer kras mutation in 2014. -Had 8 chemotherapy rounds (Avastin, Xeloda and oxaliplatino). -Had liver surgery (to remove mets) last year. -In august 2014 PET scan showed mets (in lung, liver, rectum, spleen, pelvis). -Started taking a new chemo combo (Xeloda 1000mg morning and 1000 mg at night - Avastin 400mg and Irinotecan 270mg). Irinotecan was working well but it was harmful. So Doctor decided to stop Irinotecan and keep Avastin and Xeloda. -Yesterday PET scan showed new mets in liver, ribs, pelvis, abdomen that is why Doctor suggest to start a new treatment "Stivarga" Thanksssss!
