CSU Discovery Day was a huge success last Saturday! There were approximately 52 prospective students and 30 additional guests that came from South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, West Virginia, Maryland, New York, California, and Texas. Anticipated programs of interest were Early Childhood Education, Middle Grades Education, Secondary Education, Accomplished Teaching, Special Education, Educational Leadership, Organizational Leadership, Natural Sciences, Curriculum and Leadership, Business Administration, Public Administration, Applied Computer Science, Community Counseling, Exercise Science, and Family Nurse Practitioner. The day began at 9:00 am with check-in and visits with representatives from student organizations and campus services. This was followed by an information session and then an Academic Fair by the Graduate School where prospective students were able to gather information about the Colleges and Academic Programs. Optional activities were a Loan Forgiveness Seminar presented by Dr. Kyle Christensen and a campus tour. We hope you can join us for the next Discovery Day in the fall.
