This is the official page of the Communist Party of Texas, CPUSA.
The Communist Party is an organization of dedicated activists and organizers in the fight for equal rights, democracy, and socialism. We welcome all people from all professions, organizations, and communities to join our network so that we can bring the interests of the working class to the top priority of government policy. We are a non-sectarian party and promote an uncompromisingly scientific and academic approach to ideology and forming policy. Where applicable, dual membership with other progressive and socialist parties is accepted. *COMMENTS POLICY* As Communists, we fully support the right to free speech and expression. You are free to have and express whatever views your experiences have led you to hold. That said, this page does not exist as a platform for general debate. There are several forums online, including facebook groups and pages, that exist for you to have such discussions in an environment where it is constructive. Comments that are civil and raise relevant points of discussion are welcome. Comments that are hostile and serve no point other than to attack or antagonize individuals, organizations, or the party are not welcome. Has a life of anti-communist propaganda led you to have nothing but contempt for those who promote communism? If so, fair enough, but this isn't the place for you to express that contempt. McCarthyist and any other kind of anti-communist content will be removed from the page. Anarchists, Left extremists, and others who have leftist criticisms of the CPUSA, fine. Agent provocateur rhetoric will be removed from the page, and this includes inciting violence and other attributes that coincide with the McCarthyist caricature of communists. Indigenous rights activists, we fully support all initiatives to reconcile the grossly unjust past treatment of indigenous communities. This should go without saying. Comments advocating for ethnic cleansing or any kind of segregation and systemic preference for one ethnic group will be removed. Noticing a theme here? If you don't like something that is posted, fine, you have that right and are free to comment on it if it is relevant. If what you have to say is just a general expression of your contempt that has no purpose beyond shitposting, take it to another forum. Repeat offenders will be banned. Brigading (coordinated attacks from other forums) will result in immediate bans. We don't ban often, but we do ban when it is necessary. If you feel you were unnecessarily banned, please make an appeal and we will review and take care of it ASAP: http://www.cp-texas.org/#!form/c1csp

An interesting article,an attempt to explain why things here in the USA have changed the way they have. But the liberal author only talks about the form changing not the content, the"capitalist state ". The content can never be anything but undesirable to the working class. We prefer the democratic form of the state because it makes it easier for us to organize against their oppressors and thus lessen our suffering by the capitalist state. The real question here is not so much the form of state as the author writes ,but the replacement of the capitalist state with a workers state, something the author never mentions because he is incapable of seeing what was once "taboo" is now in the hearts and minds of millions of Americans.
Dear comrades, The year 2016 is reaching its end. We hope you will be greeting the new year in the loving company of friends and family. Over this year we have seen many significant changes in the struggle which will shape the road ahead profoundly. The elections have certainly sent a message of contempt to the neoliberal establishment but have set into motion a process which could very well lead to the transforming of the existing corporate state into one which abandons the facade of democracy and resorts to open fascist terror. This threat should not be underestimated. Dark times are ahead, but do not despair! The election results were met with a resounding wave of grassroots protest unlike any election in history. The forces on the ground are uniting and coagulating towards a direct confrontation with the US power structure. This year saw an historic breakthrough with the socialist oriented campaign, led by US Senator Bernie Sanders, which challenged the power of the DNC and the neoliberal elites and brought to light large scale corruption and major problems with the Democratic Party. This development significantly contributed to the elevation of class consciousness in the American people and, with all of its shortcomings and its ultimate failure to avert the candidacy of the widely despised establishment candidate, it was an enormous success in displaying what huge popular support exists for socialism in America much to the contrary of the propaganda that is peddled by corporate media. In the coming year, the various progressive movements for justice and liberty must further converge in an alliance of anti-fascist resistance. This will be the primary aim of the Communists. We don't need to have universal agreement on all aspects of what is to be done (nor should we), but we must all work together and strive for unity despite our differences in order to achieve victory and avert catastrophe. This can be done and we must all resolve to commit ourselves in 2017 to doing all we can to help achieve this end. Let's boldly step into the new year with a clear sense of direction and passionate motivation to advance the working class towards socialist democracy and the bright future which, despite gathering clouds, still shines supremely on the horizon. Happy New Year 2017!
