My name is Kate Robinson and I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Creative Expressive Therapies. My business is a unique needs led service offering tailor made facilitated workshops that focus on personalised themes with achievable and agreed positive outcomes. Workshops are enabled through the use of creative arts using the mediums as drama, music or art as a base. The person centred workshops are designed around the individual needs of the participants or a group of up to 30 individuals. All ages and abilities can be included and no special skills are required to take part. The workshops can take place anywhere dependant on numbers and can even be held in an outdoor setting if required. Participants are offered an enabling safe environment which will be relaxed, inclusive, friendly and informal. When you contact me I will discuss your individual requirements and design a workshop with your specific theme in mind that meets your precise needs and outcomes. Each workshop is individually priced dependant on requirements and I only invoice after the session has taken place. My previous workshops have included themes such as building self-esteem, self-worth, and confidence. Anti-bullying, well-being, ideas of happiness, body language, self-perception, listening differently, and different ways of expressing yourself. I have facilitated these workshops using the mediums of dance, drama, art, and alternative methods such as storytelling, visualisation and guided fantasy. Following each workshop feedback and evaluation from participants is encouraged and all workshops are fully risk assessed. I am a registered member of the National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP) and have 4 years experience of facilitating workshops. I am fully insured and have a current enhanced DBS.

Compass Creative is a needs-led business running well being workshops using the creative arts as the main focus of expression in Carlisle, Cumbria. CC is ran by me, Kate Robinson and I have five years experience of working within the community. I graduated from BA (Hons) Creative Expressive Therapies and I am registered with the National Council of Psychotherapist who recognise the therapeutic benefit of partaking in creative arts. CC runs group workshops that offer directive and creative approaches to themes of well being without the use of therapy. Instead, CC workshops allow the individual taking part to find and express their emotions in a safe and holistic way. Site and social media pages are currently under construction; hoping to be fully running over the next few days. Please feel free to contact me for any further information. firstname.lastname@example.org - Thanks! Kate, CC

While I've been organising myself, I came across the video that I took of the Workshop that explored Happy History Carlisle! Sadly, the quality is poor but I've lifted the lyrics that the young people created for their national anthem rap! If you had one opportunity, join our community and enjoy our unity. Free transportation, across the nation. Lots of money, for my honey! It's like Disneyland, it's our Wonderland; There's nothing going bad. Lots of jobs, to reduce the yobs. Go to Primark, get a jumper for two pound, enjoy yourself then dance around. It's like Disneyland, it's out Wonderland. Boo yah!! Keep creative, Kate :)
So I've been quite busy this weekend updating the Compass website! Please take a look and tell me what you think!! compasscreative.co.uk
If you have enjoyed a Compass workshop in the past, or even if you just know me and fancy helping a friend- please could you write a short review to support this small business? By having real feedback I'll be able to show possible new clients and customers your stories and experiences. Thank you in advance - all of your support is very much appreciated. Keep creative, Kate

I look forward to hearing from you :) Keep creative! Kate
